To the Australian national senior bocce team and delegate Sonia Fava, I would like to express my congratulations on the great results in achieving top eight rankings in several disciplines, as well as national and Asia Oceania records broken.
The team showed great fight throughout the championships in all disciplines, and proved themselves as worthy opponents vying for medals at the highest level of our sport. The rankings will hold them in good stead for the next Senior World Championships under the seeding system.
Also, I congratulate the Japan team and delegate Hirofumi Kobayashi for their participation at the World Championships.
The team improves each year, and with more training will achieve better results shortly. Both teams are great ambassadors representing the Asia-Oceania region.
